Marco Herzing was born in 1982 in Frankfurt, Germany, and he first encountered electronic music in the mid-90s. He tuned into the renowned HR XXL Clubnight Radio show, which often broadcasted live from iconic venues such as Omen, Aufschwung Ost, U60311, and other legendary clubs. In 1999, he visited the famous U60311 for the first time and became captivated by the harder techno sound spun by artists like Chris Liebing, Ben Sims, Cristian Varela, and many others. This passion led him to purchase three turntables, a mixer, and a substantial vinyl collection. Marco honed his skills by playing dynamic hardgroove sets on three decks, securing several bookings at regional clubs like U60311, Tanzhaus West, and MS Connexxion.

In 2012, he stepped away from DJing and the techno scene. However, with encouragement from his best friend Sandro Mure, he returned to music production. Sandro introduced him to Ableton Live, and Marco began creating his own tracks. Today, he expresses his love for old-school hardgroove techno, aiming to keep this style alive. Marco is making his CDXL debut, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Check out the EP!
